Suspension Module (Sum) - Diagnostic Trouble Codes: Adjustments Volvo S60 I

Calibrating the Control Module

Note. In order for the Four-C (Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept) function to work correctly after repair, the adaptive data in the Suspension Module (SUM) must be calibrated.

  1. The car and its components must be kept at room temperature if the calibration is to be correct
  2. Ensure that the car is unloaded and on a flat surface with the wheels pointing straight ahead
  3. Ignition on.

Calibrate the control module by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.

Note. In order for the Four-C function to work correctly after repair, the adaptive data in the Suspension Module (SUM) must be calibrated after replacing: control module the shock absorber the position sensor for the rear suspension.

  1. The car and its components must be kept at room temperature if the calibration is to be correct
  2. Ensure that the car is not loaded and on a flat surface with the wheels pointing straight ahead
  3. Ignition on. Calibrate the control module by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
