Scheme 47

Press in the mirror glass as far as possible on one side.

Insert a screwdriver and press on one of the catches holding the mirror upright.

Pull the mirror out

Disconnect the connector.

Carry out on the other side if necessary.

Installation

Locate the mirror glass mounting pins in the lugs on the swivel assembly.

Connect the connector.

Press the mirror glass into place.

Check that the mirror glass is secure.

Scheme 48

Remove door panel according to Door panel .

Remove 3 screws.

Note. Check that the rubber seal around the wiring is correctly installed in the lead-in through the door before the panel is installed.

Remove

1. mirror glass, see «Mirror glass»(ref-445666-S39295113132012010600000) .
2. 3 mounting screws (C) for the electric motor / swivel assembly.
3. the connector.
4. the electric motor (D).

Scheme 50

Remove

1. the cover
2. the door panel. See «Panel, front side door, replacing»(ref-445638-S31081307502012010600000) (-2003) or «Panel front side door, replacing»(ref-445638-S42141931672012010600000) (2004-).

Separate the connector.

Remove

1. a nut
2. the door mirror.

Scheme 51

Fold the mirror glass forwards and inwards as shown in the illustration.

Grasp and pull the mirror glass lengthways until it releases.

Work the glass out.

Disconnect the terminal pins from the mirror glass.

Scheme 52

Remove

1. the mirror glass
2. three screws.

Separate the connectors.
