Relay Test
- Ignition OFF, remove the KR73 RUN/CRANK relay.
- Measure the resistance between pins 2 (85) and 1 (86). The value should be between 60 and 200 ohms. ==> If the resistance is outside the range, replace the KR73 RUN/CRANK relay.
- The resistance should be infinite between the following pins: 3 (30) and 1 (86) 3 (30) and 5 (87) 3 (30) and 2 (85) 2 (85) and 5 (87)
- Measure the resistance between pins 3 (30) and 4 (87A). The value should be less than 2 ohms. ==> If the resistance is higher than 2 ohms, replace the KR73 RUN/CRANK relay.
- Bridge with a 3 A fuse between pin 2 (85) and B+. Bridge between pin 1 (86) and ground. Measure the resistance between pins 3 (30) and 4 (87A). The value should be less than 2 ohms. ==> If the resistance is higher than 2 ohms, replace the KR73 RUN/CRANK relay.
