- Check fuse No. 11 located in dashboard fuse panel. Replace fuse if necessary. If fuse is okay, turn ignition on. Connect test light between upper pin in fuse holder No. 11 and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Brown/Red wire between fuse No. 11, ignition switch, and maxi fuse No. 3. After repair, go to step 3 .
- Using Tech 1 scan tool, contact DICE system. Note any DTCs present. Disconnect DICE electrical connector. Turn ignition on. Connect test light between DICE connector terminal No. 7 (Brown/Red wire) and ground. If test light comes on, replace DICE control module. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Brown/Red wire between DICE connector terminal No. 7 and fuse No. 11. After repair, go to next step.
- Clear DTCs. Use scan tool to perform a function check. If DTC does not reoccur, system is okay. If DTC reoccurs, replace DICE module.
