Circuit Description
Clutch Anticipate (CA) switch input allows PCM to adjust IAC when M/T clutch is disengaged. PCM does this to avoid possible RPM flare caused by sudden change in engine load.
Conditions required to set DTC are
- Vehicle speed greater than zero MPH.
- Vehicle in gear.
- CA switch input is not grounded (clutch disengaged).
- Conditions present for greater than 15 seconds.
Or
- Changes in vehicle speed to engine speed ratio indicate more than 20 gear changes have occurred.
- CA switch state has not changed.
