Con -rod, Replace
Remove piston with con -rod.
See corresponding operation.
Remove piston pin retainer and press out piston pin.
Piston pin in floating bearing.
| Insert new con-rod, coat piston pin with engine oil and install with new piston pin retainer. | |||

Important:
Observe installation position.
Applies for C 30 SE and C 30 SEJ engines:
Arrow on piston head points towards timing case; runner on con -rod (point "A") points towards transmission.
Applies for C 30 XEI engine:
Arrow on piston head and runner on con -rod (point "A") point towards timing case.
Install piston with con - rod.
