Controls
The AC switch (3) is used to switch on the air conditioning (blue light in switch illuminates).
The air conditioning is activated only with the blower switch (2) in position "1" or higher.

Maximal cooling
In warm weather and when the vehicle has been exposed to the sun for a long period of time, open windows briefly to allow heated air to escape.
AC switch "ON", air source select lever to the left ("inside air"), temperature control lever to the left ("COLD"), blower switch in position "4", air distribution lever at "face level" and all nozzles opened.
Effect:

Normal cooling
AC switch "ON", air source select lever to the right ("outside air"), temperature control lever to the left ("COLD"), blower switch set as required, air distribution lever at "face level" and all nozzles opened.

Cooling with temperature layers
AC switch "ON", air source select lever to the right ("outside air"), temperature control lever set as required, blower switch set as required, air distribution lever set to "face / foot level" or "foot level" and nozzles opened as required.
Effect:

Demisting and defrosting screens
AC switch "ON" (for accelerated demisting), air source select lever to the right ("outside air"), temperature control lever to the right ("HOT"), blower switch set as required, air distribution lever set to "windscreen", all nozzles closed.
Note: The compressor does not switch on at ambient temperatures below 3.5 °C / 38 °F.
Effect:
