How to Remove and Install the Alternator Support Opel Astra H

Remove

  1. 1. Remove high pressure pump
  2. 2. Remove ribbed V-belt tensioner (1) • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner with KM-913-A and remove KM-6349 • Unscrew bolt (2)
  1. 3. Detach alternator (3) • Unscrew bolt (2) • Remove bracket (1) – Unscrew 2x bolts

Note. Alternator is not to be removed

  1. 4. Remove alternator support (4) • Unscrew 6x bolt (1...3) • Screw in spacer sleeve

Note. Note different bolt lengths

Install

  1. 5. Install alternator bracket • Tighten 5x bolt 25 Nm • Screw in spacer sleeve as far as the stop • Tighten bolt 25 Nm

Note. Note 2x guide bushing

Note. Note different bolt lengths

  1. 6. Attach alternator • Tighten 3x bolt 70 Nm
  2. 7. Install ribbed V-belt tensioner • Tighten bolt 50 Nm • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner with KM-913-A • Insert KM-6349
  3. 8. Install high pressure pump
