Replace Cooling Module Control Unit Opel Astra G

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery
3. 3. Remove front panelling • 4 fastening bolts (2) and (4), 5 clips (1) and (3) • 1 wiring harness plug

4. 4. Remove wiring harness plug for cooling module control unit • Detach wiring harness plugs (2) and (3) from cooling module

Note. Detach in direction of arrow

5. 5. Remove cooling module control unit (1) • 2 fastening bolts

Install

6. 6. Install cooling module control unit • 2 fastening bolts
7. 7. Install cooling module control unit wiring harness • Install and fix in place
8. 8. Fit front panelling • Fit external temperature sensor • 4 bolts, 5 clips
9. 9. Connect battery • Ground terminal to battery • Ground cable to ground terminal – 1 fastening bolt • Positive terminal to battery • Plus cable to positive terminal – 1 fastening bolt • Close battery insulation
10. 10. Programme transient memory
11. 11. Close bonnet
