DETAILS OF TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FLOWCHART
- OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SYMPTOM Interview the customer to obtain as much information as possible about the conditions and environment under which the malfunction occurs. GO TO 2.
- CHECK SYMPTOM Check the symptom based on the information obtained from the customer. Check if any other malfunctions are present. GO TO 3.
- CONSULT SELF-DIAGNOSIS Perform "MULTI DISPLAY" "self diagnosis" by connecting CONSULT. When DTC is detected, follow the instructions below: Record DTC and Freeze Frame Data. NOTE: If "CAN COM CIRC [U1000]" is displayed, start the diagnosis from the CAN communication system. Refer to " «DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE»(ref-516457-S37357724952012120600000) ". Is any DTC No. displayed? YES: GO TO 4. NO: GO TO 5 .
- DTC/SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS Perform a DTC/system diagnosis and repair or replace any malfunctioning part. GO TO 6 .
- PERFORM DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM Perform a diagnosis by symptom and repair or replace any malfunctioning part. GO TO 6.
- FINAL CHECK Check that the multi display unit functions normally. Does it operate normally? YES: End of trouble diagnosis NO: GO TO 2 .

Diagnosis Procedure
- PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS Turn the ignition switch ON and hold it for 2 seconds or more. Using CONSULT, check the "self diagnosis result" of "MULTI DISPLAY". Is CAN communication system displayed? MULTI DISPLAY UNIT: Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK FUSES Check if any of the following fuses are blown: Signal name Fuse No. Battery power supply 13 Ignition power 3 Is the check result normal? YES: GO TO 2. NO: Replace fuse with a new one after repairing the applicable circuit.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT Check voltage between multi display unit harness connector and ground.
