Service - Overview: Overview MINI Cooper I

Main Labor Operations

Main labor operations are defined as complete by themselves, beginning with receipt of the repair order by the technician to completion of the job and return of the repair order to the dispatcher. Main work can be identified by the last three digits of the flat rate being less than 500.

Example: 11 12 100 Removing and installing cylinder head

Associated Labor Operations

Associated labor operations are considered work that has already begun and thus removes overlapping time that otherwise would occur should multiple main labor operations be combined. Associated flat rates can be identified when the last three digits of the operation are equal to or greater than 500.

Example: 11 12 500 Removing and installing cylinder head (engine removed)
