- When the customer reports a vehicle malfunction, inspect the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) indication, AT warning indicator light flash, and diagnostic trouble code (DTC), then diagnose the malfunction according to following flowchart: If a DTC exists, diagnose the applicable DTC inspection. (See «DTC TABLE [SJ6A-EL]»(ref-430348-S22199790472011101700000) ) If a DTC does not exist, the MIL does not illuminate and the AT warning indicator light illuminate, diagnose the applicable symptom troubleshooting.
