Condition
DTC is set when input voltage from MAF sensor is less than .64 volt or greater than 4.9 volts once engine has operated (idle) for 3 seconds. Possible causes are
- MAF sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Brown/Red wire between terminal No. 3E on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on MAF sensor. (Схема №1)and (Схема №2).
- Open or short of Red/Black wire between main relay and terminal "C" on MAF sensor. (Схема №1)and (Схема №2).
- Open or short of Black/Blue wire between terminal No. 4D on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on MAF sensor. (Схема №1)and (Схема №2).
- Throttle Position (TP) sensor malfunction.
Conditions
DTC is set if input voltage from IAT sensor is less than .14 volt or greater than 4.8 volts when engine is started or intake air temperature is 104° F (40° C) greater than engine coolant temperature with ignition on. Possible causes are
- IAT sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Orange/Blue wire between terminal "A" on IAT sensor and terminal No. 3V on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
- Open or short of Black/Yellow wire between terminal No. 3AB on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on IAT sensor. (Схема №2)
DTC is set if input voltage from ECT sensor is less than .2 volt or greater than 4.9 volts when ignition is turned on. Possible causes are
- ECT sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Red/Green wire between terminal "A" on ECT sensor and terminal No. 3Q on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
- Open or short of Black/Yellow wire between terminal No. 3AB on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on ECT sensor. (Схема №2)
DTC is set when input voltage from TP sensor is less than .1 volt or greater than 4.8 volts when ignition is turned on. Possible causes are
- TP sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Light Green/Red wire between terminal No. 3A on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on TP sensor. (Схема №2)and (Схема №3).
- Open or short Yellow/Red wire between terminal No. 3B on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on TP sensor. (Схема №2)and (Схема №3).

- Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor malfunction.
DTC is set when engine coolant temperature has not increased after engine is started and default period of time has passed with closed position switch in OFF position. Possible causes are
- Engine coolant temperature sensor malfunction.
- Thermostat malfunction.
- Engine cooling fan system malfunction.
- Water pump malfunction.
- Engine coolant passage clogged or leaks.
- Engine coolant level or mixture incorrect.
DTC is set when right front heated oxygen sensor signal fluctuates at intervals of 3.4 seconds or longer during normal driving conditions. Possible causes are
- Right Front Oxygen Sensor.
- Oxygen Sensor Harness And/Or Connector.
- Fuel Injection System Malfunction.
- Intake System Malfunction.
DTC is set when right front heated oxygen sensor signal voltage does not exceed .55 volt after engine is started, or stays less than .55 volt for 99 seconds after engine has reached normal operating temperature. Engine speed at 1150 RPM or greater. Possible causes are
- Right Front Oxygen Sensor.
- Open or short of Red wire between terminal No. 3I on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on right front heated oxygen sensor. (Схема №2)
DTC is set when PCM voltage is greater than 11.5 volts when voltage is supplied to right front heated oxygen sensor heater. When PCM voltage is less than 5.8 volts when no voltage is supplied to right front heated oxygen sensor heater. Possible causes are
- Right front heated oxygen sensor.
- Open or short of Red/Black wire between main relay and terminal "C" on right front heated oxygen sensor. (Схема №4)

DTC is set when middle heated oxygen sensor signal fluctuates at intervals of 4 seconds or longer during normal driving conditions. Possible causes are
- Middle Heated Oxygen Sensor.
- Oxygen Sensor Harness And/Or Connector.
- Fuel Injection System Malfunction.
- Intake System Malfunction.
DTC is set when middle heated oxygen sensor signal voltage does not exceed .55 volt after engine is started, or stays less than .55 volt for 99 seconds after engine has reached normal operating temperature. Engine speed at 1150 RPM or greater. Possible causes are
- Middle heated oxygen sensor.
- Open or short of White wire between terminal No. 3D on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" (White wire) on middle heated oxygen sensor. (Схема №2)

DTC is set when after engine has reached normal operating temperature, rear heated oxygen sensor signal stays above .45 volts for 6 seconds when fuel is cut off during deceleration. Possible cause; short in rear heated oxygen sensor wiring harness.
DTC is set when rear heated oxygen sensor signal voltage does not exceed .60 volt after engine is started, or stays less than .60 volt for 80 seconds after engine has reached normal operating temperature. Engine speed at 1150 RPM or greater. Possible causes are
- Rear heated oxygen sensor.
- Open or short of Green wire between terminal No. 3H on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on rear heated oxygen sensor. (Схема №2)

- Intake System Malfunction.
DTC is set when left front heated oxygen sensor signal voltage does not exceed .55 volt after engine is started, or stays less than .55 volt for 99 seconds after engine has reached normal operating temperature. Engine speed at 1150 RPM or greater. Possible causes are

DTC is set when EGR valve does not achieve target position during EGR solenoid valve operation. Possible causes are
- EGR solenoid valve (vent) malfunction.

DTC is set when right front heated oxygen sensor value difference becomes closer to value of right rear heated oxygen sensor. Possible causes are
- Three-way catalytic converter deterioration.

DTC is set when battery voltage is more then 10 volts, DTC P1445 is not displayed, engine has been off for at least 5 minutes and fuel gauge voltage does not level out in 14 seconds. Possible causes are
- Fuel gauge sending unit malfunction.
- Open or short of Green/Yellow wire between fuel gauge sending unit and terminal No. 3K on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
DTC is set when vehicle speed signal is less than 1.9 MPH for more than 33 seconds while driving vehicle with engine speed is greater than 2000 RPM . Possible causes are
- Speedometer sensor malfunction.
- Open or short between ignition switch and instrument cluster.
- Open or short circuit between ground and speedometer.
- Open or short circuit between VSS and speedometer sensor.

DTC is set when actual engine speed is excessively higher or lower than target speed preset in PCM for more than 14 seconds. Possible causes are
- Idle Air Control (IAC) valve malfunction.
- Leakage in intake air system.

DTC is set when PCM has not received closed throttle position switch ON/OFF signal while vehicle is operating. Condition must occur at least 10 consecutive times. Possible causes are
- Closed throttle position switch malfunction.

- Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch malfunction.
- Open or short of Gray/Green wire between PSP switch terminal and terminal No. 3T on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
- Open or short in power supply circuit.
DTC is set when PCM has not received brake switch signal while vehicle is operating. Possible causes are
- Brake switch malfunction.

DTC is set when input signal from starter to PCM continues for more than 20 seconds with engine speed greater than 2000 RPM. Possible causes are
- Starter malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between starter terminal "S" (Black/White wire) and terminal No. 1H (Black/Blue wire) on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
DTC is set when open or short circuit is detected in PRC solenoid valve when ignition is on. Possible causes are
- PRC solenoid valve malfunction.
- Open or short of Red/Black wire between terminal "A" on PRC solenoid valve and main relay.

DTC is set when there is no SGC signal input from Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor while engine is running. Possible causes are

DTC is set when input voltage from EGR valve position sensor is less than .2 volt or greater than 4.75 volts. Throttle valve is at closed throttle position and engine speed is less than 875. Possible causes are
- EGR valve position sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Light Green/Red wire between terminal No. 3A on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector and terminal "B" on EGR valve position sensor connector. (Схема №1)and (Схема №2).

DTC is set when PCM detects open or short circuit in CDCV system with ignition switch on. Possible causes are
- CDCV malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between terminal "A" on CDCV and main relay.
- Open or short of Black/Blue wire between terminal "B" on CDCV and terminal No. 4R on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
DTC is set when PCM detects fuel tank pressure is low after engine is started in cold condition and vehicle speed is less than 59 MPH. Possible causes are
- Purge solenoid malfunction.
- Canister Drain Cut Valve (CDCV) malfunction.
- Charcoal canister malfunction.
- EVAP air filter plugged.
- Clogs or leakage in system hoses.
- 2-way check valve clogged.
- MAP sensor malfunction.
- Fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction.

- Poor connection, open or short in wiring harness.
DTC is set if fuel gauge sender unit operation range is minimal when fuel consumption is over 8 gallons, and input voltage is less then .09 or more then 7.2 volts when battery voltage is 11-16 volts. Possible causes are
- Fuel gage sending unit malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between fuel gauge sending unit and terminal No. 3K on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector. (Схема №2)
DTC is set PCM detects open or short circuit in EGR boost sensor solenoid valve system when ignition switch is on. Possible causes are
- EGR boost sensor solenoid valve malfunction.
- Open or short of Red/Black wire between EGR boost sensor solenoid valve and main relay.

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects open or short circuit in VRIS No. 2 solenoid valve system with ignition switch on. Possible causes are
- VRIS solenoid No. 2 malfunction.
- Open or short of Red/Black wire between terminal "A" on VRIS solenoid valve No. 2 and main relay.
- Open or short of Brown/Yellow wire between terminal "B" on VRIS solenoid valve No. 2 and terminal No. 1AE on Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (Схема №2)
DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not read DTCs from output devices. Cause is malfunctioning PCM. Replace PCM and erase any DTCs present. See CLEARING CODES in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. Retest vehicle.
DTC is set when no pulse signal is input to PCM at 4 MPH or greater. Possible causes are
- ABS/TCS control module malfunction.
- Open or short of Pink/Green wire between terminal No. 1Q on PCM and terminal No. 2S on ABS/TCS control module. (Схема №2)
DTC is set when voltage at terminal No. 4B (Blue/Red wire) on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) harness connector is less than 1.4 volts (other than during starting). Possible causes are
- Battery malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between terminal No. 4B (Blue/Red wire) on PCM and positive battery cable. (Схема №2)
- Open MAIN fuse.
DTC is set under the following conditions
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects transmission range switch in "P" or "N" position with engine speed greater than 1810 RPM and vehicle speed greater than 50 MPH. Possible causes are
- Transmission range switch malfunction.
- Open or short of Black/Red wire between terminal "H" on transmission range switch and terminal No. 1F on PCM. (Схема №2)
