  1. PRECAUTION NOTE: After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600412-S33693534232014022400000) . When replacing the multi-media module receiver assembly or DCM (telematics transceiver), perform the vehicle contract setting. Refer to «DCM ACTIVATION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600445-S29232479322014022400000) . The safety connect device uses the DCM (telematics transceiver) to provide access to the network service. The DCM (telematics transceiver) has a DCM ID (described on the label attached to the DCM (telematics transceiver)).

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL WARNING: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system. NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600412-S41156157812014022400000) .

  12. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET Remove the 3 bolts and DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket. Disconnect all the connectors.
  13. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the bolt and No. 1 telephone bracket.
  14. REMOVE TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the 2 bolts and telephone bracket.

  1. INSTALL TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the telephone bracket with the 2 bolts. Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the bolt. Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
  3. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET Connect all the connectors. Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with the 3 bolts. HINT: Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 2 guides. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the map light assembly.
