  1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT Refer to the multi-display power source circuit. Refer to «Multi-display Power Source Circuit»(ref-387173-S38893476092011022400000) . If the power source circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step. NEXT: Go to next step
  2. IDENTIFY COMPONENT WHICH HAS STORED THIS CODE Enter the diagnostic mode. Press the "LAN Mon" switch to change to "LAN Monitor" mode. Identify the component which has stored this code. COMPONENT TABLE Display Component AUDIO H/U Radio receiver DSP-AMP Stereo component amplifier G/W Gateway ECU HINT: "G/W" is the component which has stored this code in the example shown in the illustration. NEXT: Go to next step
  3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT OF COMPONENT WHICH HAS STORED THIS CODE Inspect the power source circuit of the component which has stored this code. If the power source circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step. COMPONENT TABLE: Component Proceed to Radio receiver (AUDIO H/U) Radio receiver power source circuit.   4. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER Disconnect the K53, K54 and K56 receiver connectors. Measure the resistance of the receiver. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition K53-9 (TXM+) - K53-10 (TXM-) 60 to 80 ohms K54-5 (ATX+) - K54-15 (ATX-) 60 to 80 ohms K56-9 (TX+) - K56-10 (TX-) 60 to 80 ohms NG --> REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY OK: Go to next step
  5. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - COMPONENT WHICH HAS STORED THIS CODE) HINT: For details of the connectors, refer to "TERMINALS OF ECU". Refer to «TERMINALS OF ECU»(ref-387171-S34649818612011022400000) . Referring to the AVC-LAN wiring diagram below, check the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code. Disconnect all connectors between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code. Check for an open or short in the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code. OK There is no open or short circuit. NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
  6. REPLACE COMPONENT WHICH HAS STORED THIS CODE Replace the component which has stored this code with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again. OK Same problem does not occur. NG --> REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY OK --> END

  1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT Refer to the multi-display power source circuit. Refer to «Multi-display Power Source Circuit»(ref-387173-S38893476092011022400000) . If the power source circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step. NEXT: Go to next step
  2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER Disconnect the K53, K54 and K56 receiver connectors. Measure the resistance of the receiver. Standard resistance Tester Connection Specified Condition K53-9 (TXM+) - K53-10 (TXM-) 60 to 80 ohms K54-5 (ATX+) - K54-15 (ATX-) 60 to 80 ohms K56-9 (TX+) - K56-10 (TX-) 60 to 80 ohms NG --> REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY OK: Go to next step

  5. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - RADIO RECEIVER) HINT: For details of the connectors, refer to "TERMINALS OF ECU". Refer to «TERMINALS OF ECU»(ref-387171-S34649818612011022400000) . Referring to the AVC-LAN wiring diagram below, check the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the radio receiver. Disconnect all connectors between the multi-display and the radio receiver. Check for an open or short in the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the radio receiver. OK There is no open or short circuit. NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
  6. REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK Replace the multi-display with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again. OK Same problem does not occur. NG --> REPLACE COMPONENT WHICH HAS STORED THIS CODE OK --> END

  1. CHECK DISC Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked. OK No deformation or cracks on the disc. NG --> CHANGE DISC OK: Go to next step
  2. DISC CLEANING Disc cleaning If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction. NOTE: Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative. NEXT: Go to next step
  3. CLEAR DTC Clear the DTC. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-387171-S27895678712011022400000) . NEXT: Go to next step
  4. RECHECK DTC Recheck DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again. OK Malfunction disappears. OK --> END NG: Go to next step
  5. REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK Replace the disc and recheck. Replace the disc with a normal one. Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-387171-S27895678712011022400000) . Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again. OK Malfunction disappears. NG --> REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER OK --> END
