Note. For circuit reference (Схема №4)
Circuit Description
Throttle Position (TP) sensor measures amount of throttle opening. PCM uses TP sensor information for fuel delivery calculations. TP sensor readings during acceleration are much higher than those during deceleration or idle. DTC P1122 sets if PCM senses TP sensor voltage intermittently less than .10 volt.
Conditions required to set DTC are
- Ignition is on.
- TP signal voltage is intermittently less than .10 volt for .15 second over a 1.5-second period.
Diagnostic Aids
Check for faulty connections or damaged harness. Observe TP SENSOR display on scan tool while moving all related harnesses and connectors. A change in scan tool display indicates fault location. If DTC cannot be duplicated, check scan tool FAILURE RECORDS to determine mileage since last DTC was set.
