Note. For circuit reference (Схема №1)
Circuit Description
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor measures changes in intake manifold pressure (vacuum). A low voltage signal (about 2 volts), is sent to PCM at closed throttle (high vacuum). A high voltage signal (about 4 volts) is sent at wide open throttle (low vacuum).
Conditions required to set DTC are
- No TP sensor DTCs set.
- Engine is running.
- TP angle is less than 3% if engine speed is below 1000 RPM.
- TP angle is less than 10% if engine speed is above 1000 RPM.
- MAP sensor intermittently indicates MAP above 90 kPa for approximately 5 seconds over a 16-second period.
Diagnostic Aids
Check for leaking or plugged vacuum line to MAP sensor. Check for faulty connections or damaged harness. Observe MAP display on scan tool while moving all related harnesses and connectors. A change in scan tool display indicates fault location. If DTC cannot be duplicated, check scan tool FAILURE RECORDS to determine mileage since last DTC was set.
