DIAGNOSTIC MODES
Self-diagnostic system can detect ECCS malfunctions and store related trouble codes. Intermittent codes are also stored. All codes are stored until cleared from memory. If an intermittent DTC does not reoccur 3 complete drive cycles, it will be cleared from memory.
Mode 3: Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
This is self-diagnostic mode for retrieving DTCs stored in ECM memory.
