Multifunction Electronic Module: Removal & Installation Ford Focus I facelift

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-278287) article.
2. Open the glove compartment to the full open position.
3. Disconnect the generic electronic module (GEM) electrical connectors.
4. Remove the GEM.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Once the GEM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new module. For additional information, refer to «MODULE CONFIGURATION»(ref-278294) article.
