Removal Procedure

  1. Turn off the PSD from the roof console switch bank.
  2. Remove the PSD OPEN/CLOSE switch from the center pillar.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the PSD OPEN/CLOSE switch.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the PSD OPEN/CLOSE switch.
  2. Install the PSD OPEN/CLOSE switch to the center pillar.
  3. Turn the PSD ON from the roof console switch bank.
  1. Remove the courtesy lamp lens.
  2. Remove the overhead console screw.
  3. Grasp the overhead console and pull downward in order to disengage the fasteners.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the overhead console.
  5. Remove the power sliding door on/off multifunction switch (5) by using pliers in order to compress the retainers while pulling the switch away from the housing.
  1. Snap the power sliding door on/off multifunction switch (5) into the opening in the overhead console.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Align the overhead console within the vehicle.
  4. Press up on the overhead console engaging the fasteners in order to secure the console to the vehicle.
  5. Install the overhead console screw. Tighten: Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
  6. Install the courtesy lamp lens.

Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door

  1. Remove the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241679-S03390042152006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the sliding door inside handle. Refer to «Inside Handle Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S17947673512006081100000) .
  3. Use the J 38778 .
  4. Remove the sliding door inner trim panel from the sliding door.
  1. Install the sliding door inner trim panel to the sliding door.
  2. Align the locating pins on the sliding door inner trim panel to the sliding door.
  3. Firmly press the sliding door inner trim panel with the retainers to the sliding door to the seat retainers.
  4. Install the sliding door inside handle. Refer to «Inside Handle Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S17947673512006081100000) .
  5. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241679-S03390042152006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  1. Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left»(ref-241679-S30922318502006081100000) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the power sliding door (PSD) actuator control module (3).
  3. Release the integral clips (2) securing the actuator module to the top side of the motor module bracket (4).
  4. Pull the PSD actuator control module (3) inboard in order to release the control module from the actuator motor module bracket.
  1. Push the PSD actuator control module (3) outboard in order to hook the control module to the actuator motor bracket (4).
  2. Connect the PSD actuator control module electrical connectors (1).
  3. Perform the re-initialization procedure. Refer to «Actuator Control Module - Power Sliding Door (PSD) Programming and Setup»(ref-241688-S39233373312006081100000) .
  4. Install the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left»(ref-241679-S30922318502006081100000) .
  1. Remove the right rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right»(ref-241679-S40373754052006081100000) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the power sliding door (PSD) actuator control module.
  3. Release the integral clips (1, 2) securing the actuator module (3) at the rear motor bracket.
  4. Pull the PSD actuator control module (3) inboard in order to release the control module from the actuator motor bracket.
  1. Push the PSD actuator control module (3) outboard to secure the control module to the actuator motor bracket and retention clips (1, 2).
  2. Connect the PSD actuator control module electrical connectors.
  3. Perform the re-initialization procedure. Refer to «Actuator Control Module - Power Sliding Door (PSD) Programming and Setup»(ref-241688-S39233373312006081100000) .
  4. Install the right rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right»(ref-241679-S40373754052006081100000) .
  1. Disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the left body side trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side Front»(ref-241679-S08502920792006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  3. Open the sliding door 1/3 of the way.
  4. Support the bottom of the sliding door.
  5. Remove the center roller bracket pin. Separate the center roller bracket, body side, from the center roller bracket, door side.
  6. Position the bottom of the sliding door out at the rear in order to provide access to the center roller bracket, body side.
  7. Remove the sliding door center track cover. Refer to «Center Track Cover Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S29259346872006081100000) .
  8. Position the sliding door center roller bracket, body side, at the front of the center roller track.
  9. Manually pull the forward cable (1) in order to release the cable barrel from the sliding door bracket.
  10. Lift the center roller bracket (1), body side, up and out from the front radius of the sliding door center track (2).
  11. Detach the cable end (1, 2) from the sliding door center roller bracket, body side.
  12. Remove the front pulley bolts (6, 8).
  13. Remove the front pulley nut (7).
  14. Remove the front pulley from the front inner quarter panel.
  15. Remove the rear pulley bolts.
  16. Remove the rear cable (2) from the opening at the rear of the sliding door center track.
  17. Remove the rear pulley from the rear inner quarter panel.
  18. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors (1) from the actuator control module (3).
  19. Remove the motor clutch assembly nuts (9).
  20. Remove the motor clutch assembly bolts (10).
  21. Carefully remove the motor clutch assembly from the vehicle.
  1. Ensure the J-clips (3) are secured to the inner body panel prior to installing the motor clutch assembly.
  2. Position the motor clutch assembly to the vehicle.
  3. Install the motor clutch assembly bolts (10). Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the motor clutch assembly nuts (9). Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Connect the wiring harness (1) to the actuator control module (3).
  6. Route the rear cable (2) through the opening in the rear sliding door center track.
  7. Position the rear pulley to the rear inner quarter panel.
  8. Install the rear pulley bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  9. Install the cover (2).
  10. Route the front cable through the opening in the front inner quarter panel.
  11. Position the front pulley (2) to the front inner quarter panel.
  12. Install the front pulley bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  13. Install the front pulley nut. Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  14. Adjust the cable tension. Refer to «Cable Tension Adjustment - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S41504666312006081100000) .
  15. Manually open and close the sliding door in order to verify that: Latch/unlatch function operates Cable assembly is correctly positioned in the center track The door fits, check all external door gaps Ensure the lower roller track is clear of any foreign material and debris. Ensure the fuel filler door is in the closed position.
  16. Install the left body side trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side Front»(ref-241679-S08502920792006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  17. Enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the right rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right»(ref-241679-S40373754052006081100000) .
  3. Open the sliding door 1/3 of the way.
  4. Support the bottom of the sliding door.
  5. Remove the center roller bracket pin (1). Separate the center roller bracket (4), body side, from the center roller bracket (2), door side.
  6. Position the bottom of the sliding door out at the rear in order to provide access to the center roller bracket (2), body side.
  7. Remove the sliding door center track cover. Refer to «Center Track Cover Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S29259346872006081100000) .
  8. Position the sliding door center roller bracket, body side, at the front of the center roller track.
  9. Manually pull the forward cable in order to release the cable barrel from the sliding door bracket.
  10. Lift the center roller bracket, body side, up and out from the front radius of the sliding door center track.
  11. Detach the cable barrel end (1) from the sliding door center roller bracket, body side.
  12. Remove the front pulley bolts (9).
  13. Remove the front pulley nut (8).
  14. Remove the front pulley (10) from the front inner quarter panel.
  15. Remove the rear pulley cover (4) and bolts.
  16. Remove the rear pulley (3).
  17. Remove the rear cable from the opening at the rear of the sliding door center track.
  18. Remove the rear pulley from the rear inner quarter panel.
  19. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the actuator control module (3).
  20. Remove the motor clutch assembly nuts (6).
  21. Remove the motor clutch assembly bolts (4).
  22. Carefully remove the motor clutch assembly from the vehicle.
  1. Ensure the J-clips (1, 11) are secured to the inner body panel prior to installing the motor clutch assembly.
  2. Position the motor clutch assembly (5) to the vehicle.
  3. Install the motor clutch assembly bolts (4). Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the motor clutch assembly nuts. Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Connect the wiring harness to the motor clutch assembly.
  6. Route the rear cable (1) through the opening in the rear sliding door center track.
  7. Position the rear pulley (3) to the rear inner quarter panel.
  8. Install the rear pulley bolts (3). Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  9. Route the front cable through the opening in the front inner quarter panel.
  10. Position the front pulley (10) to the front inner quarter panel.
  11. Install the front pulley bolts (7, 9). Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  12. Install the front pulley nut (8). Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  13. Adjust the PSD cable tension. Refer to «Cable Tension Adjustment - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S41504666312006081100000) .
  14. Manually open and close the sliding door in order to verify that: Latch/unlatch function operates Cable assembly is correctly positioned in the center track The door fits, check all external door gaps Ensure the lower roller track is clear of any foreign material and debris.
  15. Install the right rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right»(ref-241679-S40373754052006081100000) .
  16. Enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  3. Partially remove the top half of the side door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  4. Release the adhesive backing securing the sliding door energy absorber behind the door impact back beam.
  5. Remove the energy absorber pad from the inner door structure.
  6. Clean all traces of adhesive from the mounting surface for the energy absorber.
  1. Remove the adhesive backing from the energy absorber.
  2. Carefully secure the energy absorber pad in between the door inner structure and the door impact beam.
  3. Secure the upper portion of the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  4. Install the side door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  5. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  2. Route the front door electrical harness through the front door water deflector.
  3. Remove the front door water deflector from the front inner door.
  1. Route the front door electrical harness through the front door water deflector.
  2. Press the front door water deflector onto the front inner door in order to wet-out the butyl tape seal.
  3. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  3. Remove the sliding door water deflector from the sliding inner door.
  1. Position the sliding door water deflector to the sliding inner door.
  2. Press the sliding door water deflector onto the sliding inner door in order to wet-out the butyl tape seal.
  3. Install the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  4. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  4. Remove the auxiliary water deflector.
  1. Install the auxiliary water deflector.
  2. Install the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  3. Install the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  4. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Retighten the 13 mm upper bolts. Tighten: Tighten the 13 mm bolts, in sequence as shown, to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
  2. Retighten the 13 mm lower bolts. Tighten: Tighten the 13 mm bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
  3. Verify the door adjustment, repeat if needed.
  4. Open and close the door.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  3. Remove the front door conduit. Refer to «Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S35055825452006081100000) .
  4. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner»(ref-241675-S05261661482006081100000) .
  5. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to «Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window»(ref-241675-S04314880672006081100000) .
  6. Remove the front door window. Refer to «Window Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S23611002642006081100000) .
  7. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1). Refer to «Mirror Replacement - Power»(ref-241675-S41967510282006081100000) .
  8. Remove the front door module (2). Refer to «Door Module Replacement - Front»(ref-241675-S00939518632006081100000) .
  9. Remove the front door outside handle (5). Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside»(ref-241675-S40259808472006081100000) .
  10. Remove the front door lock. Refer to «Lock Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S09819178762006081100000) .
  11. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer»(ref-241675-S07001524662006081100000) .
  12. Remove the front door window run channel. Refer to «Window Run Channel Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S31235259392006081100000) .
  13. Remove the front door molding.
  14. Remove the front door hinges. Refer to «Hinge Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S37289088872006081100000) .
  15. With the aid of an assistant, remove the front door shell from the hinge pillar.
  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the front door to the body.
  2. Install the front door hinges. Refer to «Hinge Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S37289088872006081100000) .
  3. Install the front door molding.
  4. Install the front door window run channel. Refer to «Window Run Channel Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S31235259392006081100000) .
  5. Install the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer»(ref-241675-S07001524662006081100000) .
  6. Install the front door lock. Refer to «Lock Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S09819178762006081100000) .
  7. Install the front door outside handle (5). Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside»(ref-241675-S40259808472006081100000) .
  8. Install the front door module (1). Refer to «Door Module Replacement - Front»(ref-241675-S00939518632006081100000) .
  9. Install the outside rearview mirror (1). Refer to «Mirror Replacement - Power»(ref-241675-S41967510282006081100000) .
  10. Install the front door window. Refer to «Window Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S23611002642006081100000) .
  11. Install the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to «Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window»(ref-241675-S04314880672006081100000) .
  12. Install the front door window belt inner sealing strip (3). Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner»(ref-241675-S05261661482006081100000) .
  13. Install the front door conduit. Refer to «Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S35055825452006081100000) .
  14. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  15. Refer to front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  16. Adjust the front door. Refer to «Door Adjustment - Front»(ref-241675-S04878510622006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.
  3. Protect and support the sliding door at the bottom edge.
  4. Remove the pin (1) from the sliding door center roller bracket.
  5. Remove the sliding door lower roller bracket. Refer to «Roller Bracket Replacement - Lower»(ref-241675-S32227016552006081100000) .
  6. Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket. Refer to «Roller Bracket Replacement - Upper»(ref-241675-S03491034622006081100000) .
  7. With the aid of an assistant, remove the sliding door from the roller brackets. Transfer parts as necessary to the new door.
  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the sliding door to the roller brackets. Transfer parts as necessary to the new door.
  2. Support the sliding door edge on a protected surface.
  3. Install the sliding door lower roller bracket. Refer to «Roller Bracket Replacement - Lower»(ref-241675-S32227016552006081100000) .
  4. Install the sliding door upper roller bracket. Refer to «Roller Bracket Replacement - Upper»(ref-241675-S03491034622006081100000) .
  5. Install the pin (1) to the sliding door center roller bracket and secure.
  6. Remove the support from the bottom of the sliding door.
  7. Close the sliding door, manually.
  8. Adjust the sliding door as needed. Refer to «Door Adjustment - Sliding (Manual or Power)»(ref-241675-S01563158152006081100000) .
  9. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the plastic plugs from the lower front of the sliding door inner trim panel in order to gain access to the sliding door lower roller bracket to door bolts.
  3. Remove the sliding door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  4. Loosen 3 of the bolts on the sliding door lower roller bracket.
  5. Adjust the front edge of the sliding door up or down, as needed.
  1. Tighten the bolt that you loosened on the sliding door lower roller bracket. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door lower roller bracket bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  2. Check and verify the current door adjustment.
  3. Install the sliding door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  4. Install the plastic plugs to the lower front of the sliding door Inner trim panel in order to cover the sliding door lower roller bracket bolts.
  5. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.
  3. Loosen 2 screws on the rear door striker (2).
  4. Move the striker in and out in order to adjust the rear edge of the sliding door, as needed.
  5. Ensure the striker spacer plate (1) is in alignment with the striker plate (2) prior to securing the screws.
  1. Hand tighten the 2 sliding door rear striker screws. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door rear striker screws, in sequence as shown, to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  2. Close the sliding door.
  3. Inspect the in/out adjustment of the sliding door.
  4. Re-adjust as needed.
  5. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Use 2 pieces of masking tape for the following procedure: Place a piece of tape over the gap between the door and the rocker panel. Place the second piece of tape over the gap between the door and the rear door or quarter panel.
  2. Use a utility knife or other suitable tool in order to cut the tape at the gap area.
  3. Clean the hinge mounting surfaces on the door and the body with a rag.
  4. Mark the hinge locations on the body surfaces with a grease pencil or other suitable marker.
  5. Support the door.
  6. Remove the upper or lower body side hinge bolts from the hinge.
  7. Remove the upper or lower door side hinge bolts from the door.
  8. Remove the hinge from the door and body.
  9. Remove the cone adjuster bolt from the hinge.
  1. Install the cone adjuster bolt to the hinge. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  2. Install the new hinge within the previously marked locations.
  3. Install the upper (1, 2) or lower (3, 4) door side hinge bolts to the door and tighten in the sequence shown. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
  4. Install the upper or lower body side hinge bolts to the hinge. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
  5. Remove the supports from the door.
  6. Remove the reference tape from the door, the rocker and the quarter panel.
  7. Inspect the front door for the following adjustments: Up and down In and out Fore and aft
  8. Adjust the front door as needed.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door half way.
  3. Remove the bolt (2) for the sliding door catch (1) with the reinforcement channel (4) from the sliding door lower track (3).
  4. Remove the sliding door catch with the reinforcement channel from the sliding door lower track.
  1. Install the sliding door catch with reinforcement channel to the sliding door lower track.
  2. Install the sliding door catch (1) with reinforcement channel and bolt to the sliding door lower track (3). Tighten: Tighten the reinforcement channel bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  3. Completely open the sliding door in order to ensure that the sliding door catch holds the sliding door in the open position.
  4. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  5. Close the sliding door.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove either the right or left rear tail lamp. Refer to «Tail Lamp Assembly and/or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement»(ref-241674-S35712516022006081100000) in Lighting Systems.
  3. Remove the sliding door center track cover rear screw.
  4. Open the sliding door.
  5. Remove the front center track screw.
  6. Carefully remove the center sliding track cover from the center track rail.
  1. Position the center track cover to the center track rail.
  2. Install the sliding door center track cover rear screw. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door center track cover rear and front screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Install either the right or left rear tail lamp. Refer to «Tail Lamp Assembly and/or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement»(ref-241674-S35712516022006081100000) in Lighting Systems.
  4. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  5. Close the sliding door.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the front edges of the sliding door inner trim panel in order to gain access to the sliding door lower roller bracket bolts.
  3. Mark the location of the sliding door lower roller bracket to the sliding door with a grease pencil.
  4. Support the sliding door.
  5. Remove the sliding door catch (1) with the reinforcement channel bolt (2) at the sliding door lower track.
  6. Remove the sliding door lower roller bracket vertical bolts.
  7. Remove the sliding door lower roller bracket from the lower track.
  1. Install the sliding door lower roller bracket to the lower door bracket.
  2. Install the sliding door catch with reinforcement channel bolt (2) at the sliding door lower track. Tighten: Tighten the reinforcement channel bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  3. Align the sliding door lower roller bracket to the grease pencil marks on the sliding door.
  4. Install the sliding door lower roller bracket bolts. Tighten: Tighten the lower roller bracket bolts, in sequence as shown, to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  5. Remove the support from the sliding door.
  6. Install the front edge of the sliding door inner trim panel to the sliding door.
  7. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  8. Adjust the sliding door. Refer to «Door Adjustment - Sliding (Manual or Power)»(ref-241675-S01563158152006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door in order to gain access to the center roller bracket pin.
  3. Support the rear of the sliding door.
  4. Remove the pin (1) from the center roller bracket (2).
  5. Position the center roller bracket to the front radius of the sliding door center track.
  6. Release cable tension. Refer to «Cable Tension Adjustment - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S41504666312006081100000) .
  7. Remove the cables (1, 2) from the rear roller bracket (power sliding door only).
  8. Lift the center roller bracket (3) upwards and remove the bracket from the center track.
  1. Attach the cable ends.
  2. Position the sliding door center roller bracket to the front radius of the sliding door center track.
  3. Lower the sliding door center roller bracket to sliding door center track down and into the sliding door center track.
  4. Install the cable to the rear roller bracket.
  5. Adjust cable tension. Refer to «Cable Tension Adjustment - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S41504666312006081100000) .
  6. Position the sliding door center roller bracket (2) to the rear of the track or until the pin holes are aligned.
  7. Install the pin (1) to the sliding door center roller bracket.
  8. Remove the support from the power sliding door.
  9. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  10. Manually open and close the rear sliding door in order to verify the door fit and the door latch/unlatch operation.
  11. Test the cable tension again after manually moving the door.
  1. Remove the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241679-S03390042152006081100000) .
  2. Remove the headliner trim finish molding. Refer to «Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement»(ref-241679-S26198913172006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  3. Support the sliding door.
  4. Mark the location of the sliding door upper roller bracket (1) to the door (2) with a grease pencil.
  5. Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts.
  6. Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket from the front edge of the upper track.
  1. Install the sliding door upper roller bracket to the front edge of the upper track.
  2. Align the sliding door upper roller bracket (1) to the grease pencil marks.
  3. Install the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts, in sequence as shown, to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Remove the support from the sliding door.
  5. Adjust the sliding door, if needed. Refer to «Door Adjustment - Sliding (Manual or Power)»(ref-241675-S01563158152006081100000) .
  6. Install the headliner trim finish molding. Refer to «Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement»(ref-241679-S26198913172006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241679-S03390042152006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.
  3. Remove the sliding door striker screws.
  4. Remove the sliding door striker and the shim from the C-pillar.

Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside

  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  3. Remove the sliding door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  4. Remove the door lock module. Refer to «Lock Module Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S33809082812006081100000)
  5. Pry the barrel nut out of the lock assembly and push the lock rod away from the sliding door lock assembly.
  6. Disconnect the sliding door lock module harness connector, if equipped.
  7. Remove the sliding door handle screws.
  8. Remove the lock assembly from the sliding door.
  9. Remove the outside handle cable from the lock assembly.
  10. Remove the sliding door outside handle bolts.
  11. Remove the sliding door outside handle from the sliding door.
  12. Remove the outside handle cable from the outside handle.
  1. Install the outside handle cable to the outside handle.
  2. Install the sliding door outside handle to the sliding door.
  3. Install the sliding door outside handle bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts, in sequence as shown, to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the outside handle cable to the lock assembly.
  5. Install the lock assembly to the sliding door.
  6. Install the sliding door handle lock actuator screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  7. Connect the sliding door lock module harness connector, if equipped.
  8. Push the lock rod towards the sliding door lock assembly and snap the barrel nut into the lock assembly.
  9. Install the door lock module. Refer to «Lock Module Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S33809082812006081100000)
  10. Install the control rods to the sliding door outside handle (1).
  11. Inspect for proper lock rod travel.
  12. Install the sliding door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  13. Install the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  14. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  2. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the front door inside handle from the lock module.
  3. Pull back on the door inside handle assembly.
  4. Separate the upper and lower portions from each other. Slide the upper and lower portions off the lock rods.
  1. Replace the upper and lower portions on the lock rods. Slide the upper and lower portions together.
  2. Reattach the door inside handle assembly to the lock module.
  3. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Use J 42506-A in order to remove the inside door handle clip. See «Special Tools»(ref-241675-S23504596992006081100000) .
  3. Remove the inside handle from the sliding door.
  1. Load the clip into the inside door handle with the open end facing up.
  2. Align the handle with the shaft on the sliding door.
  3. Press firmly in order to seat the inside handle to the sliding door.
  4. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Remove the front door module. Refer to «Door Module Replacement - Front»(ref-241675-S00939518632006081100000) .
  2. Release the inside door handle from the door module. Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside»(ref-241675-S30195499172006081100000) .
  3. Release the lock rods from the retainer clips.
  4. Release the door lock/latch bracket retainer tab from the module.
  5. Pull the lock rearward in order to release the lock bracket from the module.
  6. Disconnect the front door inside lock handle rods from the front door lock.
  1. Install the lock rod hooks to the lock mechanism.
  2. Holding the door handle with lock rods attached, guide the lock bracket into the door module.
  3. Push the lock assembly until the bracket tab locks into the module.

  5. Secure the lock rods to the retainer clips.
  6. Install the front door module. Refer to «Door Module Replacement - Front»(ref-241675-S00939518632006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.

  5. Verify the operation of the lock assembly. Adjust, if needed.

  5. Install the right rear tail lamp. Refer to «Tail Lamp Assembly and/or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement»(ref-241674-S35712516022006081100000) .
  6. Install the right rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right»(ref-241679-S40373754052006081100000) .
  7. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Manually open the power sliding door.

  4. Remove the forward screws.

  7. Install the forward mounting bracket screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws, in sequence as shown, to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Tighten the top screw (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  8. Ensure the rear latch rod is secured into the sliding door insulator guide.
  9. Install the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  10. Close the sliding door.
  11. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Open the powersliding door.
  2. Using the J 38778 , remove the sliding door jamb contact plate push-in retainers.
  3. Remove the sliding door jamb contact plate from the pillar.
  4. Disconnect the sliding door jamb contact plate electrical connector.
  1. Connect the sliding door jamb contact plate electrical connector.
  2. Position the sliding door jamb contact plate to the pillar.
  3. Install the sliding door jamb contact plate push-in retainers.
  4. Close the sliding door.

  2. Remove the lock cylinder retainer from the front door outside handle.

  4. Connect the power sliding door unlatch release actuator electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the sliding door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241675-S34962936512006081100000) .
  6. Install the sliding door inner trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door»(ref-241675-S31716631192006081100000) .
  7. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. Open the front door.
  2. Scribe the location of the existing front door lock striker on the B-pillar with a grease pencil.
  3. Remove the front door lock striker screws.
  4. Remove the front door lock striker plate (2) and shim (1) from B-pillar.
  1. Install the front door lock striker shim (1) and plate (2) to the scribed location on the B-pillar.
  2. Install the front door lock striker screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws, as sequenced, to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  3. Close the front door.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.
  3. Remove the sliding door locating pin screws (3).
  4. Remove the sliding door locating pin (2) from the vehicle (1).
  1. Install the sliding door locating pin (2) to the sliding door (1).
  2. Loosely install the sliding door locating pin screws (3), just tightly enough to retain the locating pin.
  3. Close and then reopen the sliding door.
  4. Re-torque the locating pin screws to the sliding door. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door locating pin screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. «Actuator Control Module - Power Sliding Door (PSD) Programming and Setup»(ref-241688-S39233373312006081100000) .
  6. Close the sliding door.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.
  3. Remove the sliding door locator screws (3) from the B-pillar.
  4. Remove the sliding door locator (2) from the B-pillar.
  1. Install the sliding door locator (2) to the B-pillar.
  2. Loosely install the sliding door locator screws (3), just tightly enough to retain the locator.
  3. Close and then reopen the sliding door.
  4. Re-torque the locator screws to the sliding door. Tighten: Tighten the sliding door locator screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  6. Close the sliding door.

Scheme 29: Door Hardware Lubrication

The mechanical components of the door are lubricated during assembly. If additional lubrication is required to any door hardware mechanism, lubricate with Superlube GM P/N 12346241 or Canadian P/N 10953474 or equivalent. Lubrication of the door hinge roller is not recommended. Lubricating the door hinge roller may allow the door hinge roller to slide against the door check link contacting surfaces causing uneven wear to the door hinge roller.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  3. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to «Speaker Replacement - Front»(ref-241677-S01542364582006081100000) in Entertainment.
  4. Disconnect the door wiring harness from the body harness.
  5. Disconnect the sash from the glass by squeezing the tabs on both of the glass attachment clips at the same time. With the tabs pressed down, slide the sash in the direction of the snap tabs until the sash clips clear the glass attachment clips.
  6. Slide the glass (1) full up and tape in place to the door window frame (2).
  7. Remove the 3 door to latch (2) screws.
  8. Remove the outside handle from the door, including the disconnecting rod. Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside»(ref-241675-S40259808472006081100000) .
  9. Pull the door harness through hinge face into door cavity and remove the door module (6 screws total).
  1. Position the front door hardware module to the front door.
  2. Align the modular locator pin (1) into the 4-way locating hole (2) in the door structure.
  3. Install the front door module screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws, as shown, to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the 3 (1) door to latch (2) screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws, in sequence as shown, to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Install the outside handle including the rod connect. Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside»(ref-241675-S40259808472006081100000) .
  6. Remove the tape on the glass and install the glass to the door module sash.
  7. Load the door wiring harness through the hinge face and attach to the body harness.
  8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  9. Install the front door speaker. Refer to «Speaker Replacement - Front»(ref-241677-S01542364582006081100000) in Entertainment.
  10. Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000)
CAUTIONDo not attempt to service the regulator motor without releasing the counterbalance spring tension. The regulator lift arm is under tension from the counterbalance spring and can cause personal injury if the motor is removed from the regulator.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  3. Apply the cloth backed body tape from the window over the top of the door to the other side of the window in order to hold the window in position when the removing the regulator.
  4. Remove the wiring harness from the regulator motor.
  5. Use J 38864 in order to release the regulator spring tension. See «Special Tools»(ref-241675-S23504596992006081100000) . Walk down the spring tension.
  6. Unsnap the power window motor in order to remove the power window motor from the lock module.
  7. Remove the regulator from the lock module.
  1. Install the regulator to the lock module.
  2. Lubricate the motor drive gear and the regulator sector teeth.
  3. Snap the power window motor to the lock module in order to install the power window motor.
  4. Use the J 38864 in order to install the spring tension. See «Special Tools»(ref-241675-S23504596992006081100000) . Walk up the spring tension.
  5. Install the wiring harness to the regulator motor.
  6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  7. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .

  3. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to remove the plugs from the swing-out window access hole on the sliding door.
  4. Remove the swing-out window latch screws.
  5. Remove the stud nuts from the swing-out window hinge.
  6. Remove the swing-out window from the sliding door.
  1. Install the swing-out window to the sliding door.
  2. Install the studs nuts to the swing-out window hinge. Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Install the swing-out window latch screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Press the plugs into the swing-out window access hole on the sliding door until fully seated.
  5. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door»(ref-241679-S03390042152006081100000) in Interior Trim.
  6. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.

Window Replacement - Rear Door

  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  2. Pull the window up into the fully closed position, tape in place.
  3. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to remove the front door window guide/insulators.
  1. Align and install the guide/insulators to the holes in the front door window.
  2. Remove the tape from the window.
  3. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .

  2. Disconnect the front door rubber conduit from the front door body side.
  3. Remove the front door electrical harness electrical connector through the opening in the front door body side pillar.
  4. Disconnect the front door electrical harness electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the front door rubber conduit from the front door.
  6. Remove the front door rubber conduit (3) from the front door electrical harness (2).
  1. Install the front door rubber conduit (3) onto the front door electrical harness (2).
  2. Connect the front door rubber conduit to the front door.
  3. Connect the front door electrical harness electrical connector.
  4. Position the front door electrical harness electrical connector into the opening in the front door body side pillar.
  5. Connect the front door rubber conduit to the front door body side pillar.
  6. Close the front door.
  1. Lower the front door window.
  2. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to «Mirror Replacement - Power»(ref-241675-S41967510282006081100000) .
  3. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner»(ref-241675-S05261661482006081100000) .
  4. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to pry up at the front of the outer belt sealing strip from the inside edge.
  5. Remove the front door outer belt window sealing strip from the pinch-weld flange.
  1. Install the front door outer belt window sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange.
  2. Use hand pressure in order to firmly seat the outer belt sealing strip.
  3. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to «Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner»(ref-241675-S05261661482006081100000) .
  4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to «Motor Replacement - Power Mirror»(ref-241675-S10487210992006081100000) .
  5. Raise the front door window.

  2. Lower the front door window.
  3. Remove the front door inner belt window sealing strip by lifting off the pinch-weld flange.
  1. Install the front door inner belt sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange.
  2. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  3. Raise the front door window.
  1. Open the front door.
  2. Use J 38778 to remove the bottom auxiliary weatherstrip retainers from the front door.
  1. Install the push-in retainers to the weatherstrip.
  2. Align the weatherstrip to the holes in the front door bottom.
  3. Press the push-in retainers into the front door bottom until fully seated.
  4. Close the front door.

  4. Remove the weatherstrip (2) from the door frame.
  1. Position the front weatherstrip edge (4) to the door frame channel.
  2. Secure the weatherstrip beginning at (4) and working around the inside of the window frame back to (3).
  3. Ensure the weatherstrip at (1, 2) is secured to the corners of the upper window frame.
  4. Install the front door window. Refer to «Window Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S23611002642006081100000) .
  5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-241675-S30758643052006081100000) .
  6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-241675-S29983452972006081100000) .
  1. Fully open the sliding rear door.
  2. Use a heat gun in order to heat the sliding door auxiliary weatherstrip (2). Keep the heat gun 150 mm (6 in) from the surface. Use a circular motion while applying heat for about 30 seconds.
  3. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to peel the sliding door auxiliary weatherstrip from the panel surface. DO NOT damage the paint.
  4. Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol in order to clean the body panel.
  1. Use a heat lamp or heat gun in order to warm the body panel to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
  2. Peel the backing from the front end of the sliding door auxiliary weather strip. DO NOT touch the adhesive backing.
  3. Press the auxiliary weatherstrip to the body.
  4. Hand roll the rear side door auxiliary weatherstrip (2) to the body in order to ensure proper adhesion.
  5. Install the rear quarter window. Refer to «Quarter Window Replacement»(ref-241689-S07803523862006081100000) in Body Rear End.
  1. Remove the front door opening sill plates. Refer to «Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door)»(ref-241679-S26294493942006081100000) or «Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)»(ref-241679-S01226110422006081100000) .
  2. Pull the front door opening weatherstrip from the front door pinch-weld flange.
  3. Clean all adhesive from the pinch-weld flange.
  1. Install the front door opening weatherstrip to the front door pinch-weld flange with the joint at the bottom.
  2. Align the appropriate dot to the starting point of the front door opening weatherstrip at the lower center of the front door pinch-weld flange. Use the weatherstrip with a green dot for the right side. Use the weatherstrip with a red dot for the left side.
  3. Roll the remainder of the of the front door opening weatherstrip onto the flange as indicated by the arrows. Fully seat the weatherstrip into the corners of the front door opening. DO NOT stretch the front door opening weatherstrip during installation.
  4. Join the loose end of the front door opening weatherstrip to the seated end.
  5. Use the end of the tear strip at the front door opening weatherstrip in order to pull the weatherstrip to the top and bottom of the instrument panel.
  6. Cut the tear strip for removal.
  7. If using the old weatherstrip, hand spoon the lip over the interior trim.
  8. Inspect the front door opening weatherstrip for creases or wrinkles.
  9. Install the front door opening sill plates. Refer to «Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door)»(ref-241679-S26294493942006081100000) or «Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)»(ref-241679-S01226110422006081100000) .
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding rear door.
  3. Remove the sliding door opening weatherstrip from the sliding door pinch-weld flange.
  4. Clean all adhesive from the pinch-weld flange.
  1. Install the sliding door opening weatherstrip to the sliding door pinchweld flange.
  2. Align the locator dot to the upper front corner and upper rear corners of the sliding door pinch-weld flange: The pink dot indicates a long wheel base. The yellow dot indicates a short wheel base.
  3. Install the remainder of the sliding door opening weatherstrip.
  4. Roll the weatherstrip onto the flange as indicated by directional arrows, beginning at the weatherstrip joint.
  5. Ensure that the weatherstrip corners are fully seated.
  6. DO NOT stretch the front door opening weatherstrip during the installation.
  7. Join the loose end of the front door opening weatherstrip to the seated end.
  8. Pull the end of the tear strip from the joint along the entire length of the sliding door opening weatherstrip.
  9. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the sliding door swing out window. Refer to «Window Replacement - Sliding Door Swing Out»(ref-241675-S06062831192006081100000) .
  3. Pull the sliding door window weatherstrip from the pinch-weld flange.
  4. Remove the sliding door window weatherstrip from the sliding door.
