Note. For malfunctions which may be caused by a low fuel volume (i.e., combustion misfire) a low fuel DTC P1250 is also stored when less than 2 gallons of fuel is remaining.
Check wiring between instrument cluster and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Check signal from fuel gauge and check fuel gauge. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair as necessary. Erase DTC memory. See CLEARING CODES in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
