DTC P0602: ECM/PCM Programming Error Acura TL IV facelift

Note. Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ). This DTC is indicated when an ECM/PCM update is not completed. Do not turn the ignition switch to ACC (I) or LOCK (0) or do not press the engine start/stop button while updating the ECM/PCM. If you do, the ECM/PCM can be damaged.

  1. Do the «ECM/PCM update»(ref-512332-S15795428962012103100000) procedure.
  2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC P0602 indicated? YES - Replace the original «ECM/PCM»(ref-512332-S08907075282012103100000) (see «ECM/PCM Replacement»(ref-512332-S08907075282012103100000) ). • NO - The update is complete.
