Installing the outside temperature sensor

Route the cable for the temperature sensor to the connector.

Install the terminal pin in the connector.

Press the temperature sensor in the door mirror.

V70 2000-, S60

Install the door mirror. See Replacing the mirror .

Ignition off.

Remove the door mirror. See Door mirror, replacing .

Remove the temperature sensor using a screwdriver as shown in the illustration

Remove

1. the connector
2. the terminal pins from the connector
3. the temperature sensor.

Route the cable for the temperature sensor to the connector.

Install

1. the cable terminals in the connector
2. the connector
3. the temperature sensor in the door mirror
4. the door mirror. See «Door mirror, replacing»(ref-407130-S33024820302011070100000) .

Scheme 264

Detach the weatherstrip at the panel: Pull straight down.

Remove the 2 steel clips.

Pull the panel straight inwards into the car.

Lift upwards.

Install

In reverse order.

Note. It is important that the clips are correctly positioned and that the panel is in position or the Inflatable Curtain (IC) may be negatively affected.
