Offset values
HINT: The offset value is an adaptive correction value which gives the individual sensor offset for the sensor. The brake control module uses the value to determine the correct start value when the DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) system is started up. If the normal value has changed during an operating cycle, the value is stored in the EEPROM memory of the brake control module (BCM) after the ignition is switched off. The value is then reloaded to the internal memory when the ignition is switched on.
HINT: The offset values can also change shortly after the ignition was switched off.
