- Ignition on. Read off the cause of the alarm by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol. The alarm can be triggered by up to 12 different components in the vehicle, depending on the equipment level. Each time the alarm is triggered, information is saved which makes it easier to determine the reason it was triggered. Click on the VCT2000 symbol to find out which components triggered the alarm. Other information retained is the time, temperature and power supply when the alarm was triggered. NOTE: The alarm occurrences are not presented in chronological order. Read off the Actual time and Time parameters to determine the last time the alarm deployed. The parameter in Actual time gives a reference value which displays how long the internal clock in the central electronic module (CEM) has calculated at the time of the read off. The value of Actual time minus the value in Time gives the number of days since the last alarm. The alarm cause is erased when the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are erased in the central electronic module (CEM). Other information See «Description of reading off alarm causes»(ref-415391-S34167252002011081500000)
