Scheme 331

Position 1

  1. Take the shorter screw and three thin washers from the kit
  2. Slide two thin washers onto the screw
  3. Slide the screw through the mounting
  4. Slide a thin washer onto the screw.

Position 2

  1. Take the longer screw and the three thin and the slightly larger washers from the kit
  2. Slide two thin washers onto the screw
  3. Slide the screw through the mounting
  4. Slide the slightly larger washer and then the remaining thin washer onto the screw.

Finally

Scheme 332

Scheme 332: Installing the Waste Paper Basket On the mounting
  1. Secure the waste paper basket on the mounting from above and down as shown.

Scheme 333

Scheme 333: Applies to S40 (04-)
  1. Take the rail, the hooks and the end stop from the kit
  2. Thread the hooks onto the rail. Insert the end stop
  3. Take the two mounting plates and the screws from the kit
  4. Mount the plates in the outer holes of the rails. Use the screws. The long section of the mounting plate must point forwards
  5. Lift the rail. Insert the mounting plates in the two large rectangular holes on the underside of the parcel shelf.

Scheme 334

Scheme 334
  1. Turn the mounting plates 90°, so that the long section points inwards in the car and is over the edge of the holes in the parcel shelf
  2. Slide the rail to the rear edge of the rectangular holes. Check that no wiring is trapped on the upper side of the parcel shelf. Tighten the rail to the parcel shelf.

Scheme 335

Scheme 335: Applies to the S60
  1. Take the rail, the hooks and the end stop from the kit
  2. Thread the hooks onto the rail. Insert the end stop
  3. Take the two mounting plates and the screws from the kit
  4. Mount the plates in the outer holes of the rails. Use the screws. The long section of the mounting plate must point outwards
  5. Lift the rail. Insert the mounting plates in the two outer holes on the underside of the parcel shelf
  6. Center the mounting plates over the holes. Pull the rail backwards to the rear edge of the holes. Secure the rail using the two screws.

Scheme 336

Scheme 336: Applies to the S80 (-06)
  1. Take the rail, the hooks and the end stop from the kit
  2. Thread the hooks onto the rail. Insert the end stop
  3. Take the two mounting plates and the screws from the kit
  4. Mount the plates in the rail's penultimate holes. Use the screws. The long section of the mounting plate must point inwards.
  5. Lift the rail. Slide the left-hand mounting plate into the left-hand hole on the underside of the parcel shelf. Then slide the right-hand mounting plate into the hole second from the right
  6. Slide the rail as far to the right as possible so that the mounting plates are over the panel surfaces between the holes. Pull the rail backwards to the rear edge of the holes. Secure the rail using the two screws.

Scheme 337

Scheme 337: Applies to the S80 (07-)
  1. Take the rail, the hooks and the end stop from the kit
  2. Thread the hooks onto the rail. Insert the end stop
  3. Take the two mounting plates and the screws from the kit
  4. Mount the plates in the rail's inner holes. Use the screws. The long section of the mounting plate must point forwards in the car.
