Headlamp Bulb - Replacing: Other Volvo S60 I

Installing the headlamp

1. Install the headlamp wiper motor. See «Motor, headlamp wiper, replacing»(ref-445658-S04361573592012010600000)
2. Position the headlamp
3. Position the washer hose through the hole on the bracket for the wiper motor
4. Pull out the top edge of the casing. Position the headlamp
5. Thread in the upper screws
6. Check the position of the air bleed hoses
7. Pull the casing down from the guide
8. Thread in the outer and inner screws
9. Press in the headlamp. Tighten the upper screws
10. Tighten the outer and inner screws
11. Install the holder and guide for the cover
12. Install the bumper cover. See «CASING, BUMPER FRONT, REPLACING»(ref-445643-S25292193072012010600000)
13. Install the headlamp wiper arm
14. Install the nut
15. Check and adjust the headlamp beam. See «Headlamps, aligning»(ref-415520-S19562272762011081500000) .

Preparations

1. Switch off the ignition.

Scheme 15

1. Remove «Headlamp / bulb, replacing»(ref-445658-S01694745822012010600000)
2. Disconnect the connector for the headlamp wiper motor
3. Remove the 2 screws from the headlamp wiper motor
4. Remove the headlamp wiper motor.

Headlamp wiper motor

1. Position the headlamp wiper motor
2. Install the screws. First tighten the inner screw. Then tighten the outer screw. Tighten the screws. Tighten to: 8 Nm
3. Connect the connector
4. Install «Installing the headlamp»(ref-445658-S31544674232012010600000) .

Scheme 16

Ignition off.

Set the switch for external lighting to zero.

Remove the 4 screws from the bumper guide.

Scheme 17

Remove

1. the 4 screws for the headlamp
2. the connectors
3. the headlamp.

Scheme 18

1. Turn signal lamps
2. Parking lamps, applies to vehicles equipped with Bi Xenon lamps
3. Parking lamps, applies to vehicles equipped with halogen lamps
4. Dipped beam
5. Main beam
6. Sidemarker lamps front.

Note. Carefully tension the casing and the guide for the bumper when working with headlamps.

Install

1. the connectors
2. the headlamp
3. the 4 x screws
4. the bumper guide
5. the 4 x screws

Checking the light pattern

Check and adjust the light pattern. See: Headlamps, aligning .
