Remove the coolant pump

Remove the screws

  1. Tap the pump wheel with the shaft of a hammer and remove the pump.
  2. Clean the gasket faces thoroughly.

Replace the coolant pump

Install

  1. a new gasket
  2. a new pump.

Tighten the screws crosswise to 17 Nm (12.5 lb.ft) .
