Note. This accessory requires software unique to the car.

Preparations

1. Turn the ignition key to position 0. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch
2. Disconnect the battery negative lead. NOTE: Wait at least five minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

Scheme 204

1. Position the steering wheel in the lowest position. First move the lever (1) downwards. Pull the steering wheel downwards.
2. Remove the three screws (2) from underneath the steering wheel.

Scheme 205

1. Disconnect the upper and lower steering column cover
2. Remove the two screws (1)
3. Hold the covers apart. Remove the lever. This will not be used again.

Scheme 206

1. Install the new lever (1) in position
2. Tighten the lever using the two screws
3. Push the upper steering column cover down over the two levers. Ensure that the two rubber boots (2) align with the cut out in the steering column cover.

Scheme 207

1. Push the upper and lower steering column cover together (1) until the lock hooks securely into each other. At the same time adjust so that they align in the cut out for the lower cover
2. Reinstall the three screws. Tighten the three screws
3. Position the steering wheel in the uppermost position by moving the adjustment lever upwards.

Scheme 208

1. Turn the ignition key to position II
2. Reconnect the battery negative lead
3. Program the software .
