- Open the oil filler cap for quick draining of engine oil.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Drain engine oil by loosening the drain plug. NOTE: Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.
- After draining the engine oil, tighten the engine oil drain plug. NOTE: Use a new drain plug gasket. Tightening torque: 41.7 N.m (4.3 kgf-m, 30.8. ft-lb)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Select engine oil of adequate quality and viscosity and fill it through the oil filler duct to the "F" line on the oil level gauge. Make sure that the vehicle is parked on a level surface when checking oil level. Recommended oil: Refer to «SPECIFICATION»(ref-565156-S41249520822013071000000) . Engine oil capacity: Refer to «SPECIFICATION»(ref-565156-S41249520822013071000000) .
- Close the oil filler cap.
- Start the engine to circulate the oil in engine.
- After stopping the engine, recheck the oil level. If necessary, add engine oil up to the "F" line on oil level gauge.

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Disconnect the terminal from oil pressure switch.
- Remove the oil pressure switch. CAUTION: Catch the engine oil using cloth to prevent it from splashing.

- Apply liquid gasket to the oil pressure switch threads. Liquid gasket: THREE BOND 1324 (Part No. 004403042) or equivalent
- Install the oil pressure switch to the chain cover. Tightening torque: 18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Connect the terminal to the oil pressure switch.
- Connect the battery ground terminal.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Note. Use new O-rings. Apply a coat of engine oil to the O-rings.
Tightening torque
6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
