DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Front wiper switch is part of combination switch on steering column. On systems equipped with intermittent wiper function, time delay is controlled by intermittent unit that is part of combination switch.
Rear wiper switch is part of combination switch on steering column. On Forester, rear wiper switch directs voltage to intermittent unit which supplies power to rear wiper motor. On Impreza, Legacy & Outback, rear wiper switch grounds solenoid coil in rear wiper relay, energizing relay and allowing power to rear wiper motor.
