Removal & Installation

To remove rear bumper, first remove rear spoiler. See REAR SPOILER. For further removal procedures (Scheme 1) For installation procedure (Scheme 2) Check gap dimensions of tailpipe, and adjust as necessary. (Scheme 3)

Removal

1. Remove rear spoiler (bumper cover). See «REAR BUMPER»(ref-153149-S31988477552003032000000).
2. Disconnect electrical plug. Bend holding peg SLIGHTLY on sensor housing and push out sensor. Retaining plate remains in bumper cover. (Scheme 6)
3. Remove insulating ring.

Installation

1. Fit insulating ring BEFORE fitting sensor. Push sensor into housing and engage.
2. Engage electrical plug.
3. Install rear spoiler (bumper cover). See «REAR BUMPER»(ref-153149-S31988477552003032000000) .
