Remove: the windscreen base supports (3)
Secure the cutting wire [1354-E] on the mounting (4)
Pass the cutting wire [1354-E] under the seal of the windscreen (in the direction "a") all around the windscreen
NoteIf the windscreen is to be reused, apply adhesive tape (5) which will serve as indicators for refitting - cut (at "b")
Pass the awl [1354-C] through the adhesive bead, from the interior towards the exterior, into the top left-hand angle of the windscreen
Thread the cutting wire [1354-E] into the awl [1354-C] and pass it towards the inside (50 cm approx.)
WarningWhen tensioning the cutting wire, ensure that the wire is placed under the windscreen correctly
Secure the other end of the cutting wire [1354-E] in the winding device [1354-AZ] and cut the first section as far as the centre of the windscreen
Transfer the winding device [1354-AZ] as indicated on the diagram and install the return roller [1354-BZ]
Pass the cutting wire [1354-E] as indicated on the diagram
Continue cutting until the cutting wire is no longer being guided by the return roller [1354-BZ]; remove the return roller [1354-BZ] and continue cutting
Cut out in accordance with the above view, in the same conditions as previously

Move the winding device [1354-AZ] as indicated on the diagram and finish the cut
Remove the windscreen; using the double hinged suction cups [KIT1-VENT]
Refitting
Preparing the flange and windscreen
Protect the dashboard
Fit the electric cutter [FEIN-400E] with blade N°146
Level off the beads of adhesive on the windscreen and the flange
Offer up the windscreen to the aperture; using the double hinged suction cups [KIT1-VENT]
NoteIf the windscreen is to be replaced, centre it and position adhesive tape (6), as shown above
Cut the tapes and remove the glass
Touch up with anti-corrosion product
Degrease the flange as well as the windscreen itself
Allow to dry for 10 mn
Apply the panel and glass primers

"Y" = 8 mm
"Z" = 12 mm
Cut the nozzle in triangular section to obtain a bead of sealing adhesive "Y" wide and "Z" deep
Apply a bead of sealing adhesive to the periphery of the windscreen
Apply the bead of adhesive
- From point "A" to point "B": 7 mm from the upper seal
- From point "C" to point "D": 15 mm from the edge of the windscreen
- From point "E" to point "F": 42 mm from the edge of the windscreen
- From point "G" to point "H": 15 mm from the edge of the windscreen
WarningNo more than 8,0 minutes must elapse between applying the mastic and positioning the glass (for the quick setting bonding mastics)
Refit the windscreen base supports (3)
Position the windscreen in relation to the pieces of adhesive tape, lifting the lower section near the bonnet in order not to deposit adhesive on the fascia
Check the fits and clearances of the windscreen
Exert a constant pressure; using the wire suction cups [KIT2-VENT]
Allow to cure for 30 minutes before handling
Check the sealing of the windscreen
Proceed in the reverse order to removal
Clean the windscreen and its surround
Check the operation of the equipment
