The timing of the 8 DW10TD (RHY) - ATED (RHZ) - BTED (RHX)-valve engines requires the following new parts
- Free running crankshaft sprocket
- Fixed camshaft pulley
Previous assembly
(1): free running camshaft pulley
(2): target wheel for cylinder reference sensor
(3): camshaft hub
(4): fixed crankshaft pinion
The timing belt tension is distributed on the camshaft pulley (1)
New assembly
(5) fixed camshaft pulley (pulley with integral cylinder reference sensor target wheel)
(6) free running crankshaft sprocket (with wider pinning groove)
The timing belt tension is distributed on the crankshaft sprocket (6)
Clean the input shaft completely along its entire length, over its entire periphery and in the grooves
- Camshaft hub
- Target wheel for cylinder reference sensor
Removing - refitting - ancillaries drive pulley
WarningPin the camshaft and the crankshaft before removing the ancillary drive pulley (the pinning prevents the camshaft from moving out of position)
If necessary: mark the replacement ancillary drive pulley with a spot of paint

The earlier and later parts are not interchangeable
