Suction draining (engine) Peugeot 607 I

Engine ~154 words

Following a recent modification to petrol and diesel engines, it is now possible to carry out an oil change by suction (without a nozzle)

The oil draining occurs via the oil dipstick tube, which reaches to the bottom of the oil sump

The end of the dipstick tube is widened to allow connection of the suction draining equipment (3 diameters: 14 - 15 and 16 mm according to engine)

WarningIt is not possible to carry out this type of draining on engines which are not designed for it; in some cases, because of the shape of the bottom of the sump, the amount of oil remaining is too great (approx. 1 litre)
