Exhaust Pressure Sensor, Diesel Particle Filter Opel Vectra C

Objective:

Checking operation of the Exhaust Pressure Sensor, mounted over the Diesel Particle Filter.

Measurement:

Plot of signal voltage of Exhaust Pressure Sensor.

Preparation:

Engine oil temperature greater than 80°C . Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead with the blue filter adapter to pin 1 of the plug connector for the Exhaust Pressure Sensor. Connect the black ground lead to pin 2.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
  3. 3. Press the accelerator pedal once quickly to the limit stop and immediatly release it again. The measurement should not take longer than one second..

  1. 1. Download Setup file (the Tech 32 uses only Setup files, no reference curves).
  2. 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
