Injector, Common Rail Diesel, Z19DT(H) Opel Vectra C

Objective:

Checking the electrical and mechanical functions of the common rail injector.

Measurement:

Plot of the voltage of the injector control signal.

Preparation:

Engine oil temperature greater than 80°C . Switch off all electrical loads. Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect red measurement lead to pin 1 of the connection plug of the injectors. Connect the black ground lead to pin 2 of the connection plug of the injector.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.

  1. 1. Download Setup file (the Tech 32 uses only Setup files, no reference curves).
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
