Knock Sensor, Remove and Install
Detach wiring harness plug (1) from knock sensor (2). Remove knock sensor from cylinder block.
The knock sensor must lie on the entire contact face directly on the cylinder block - ensure it is completely clean. Do not use underlying, spring or toothed lock washer. Observe tightening torque without fail, otherwise function disruptions may occur.
Attach knock sensor to cylinder block - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to knock sensor.
