Compression, Check
Remove the glow plugs - see operation "Glow Plugs, Remove and Install".
Disconnect the wiring harness plug from the engine control unit - see operation "Engine Control Unit, Remove and Install".
Use a compression pressure recorder with a measuring range of 10 to 40 bar together with connector KM–928.
Screw connector KM–928 into the glow plug bore and connect it to the compression pressure recorder.
Operate the starter for approx. 4 seconds - minimum engine speed 150 rpm. The pressure difference between cylinders should not exceed 100 kPa (1 bar).
Connect the wiring harness plug to the engine control unit - see operation "Engine Control Unit, Remove and Install".
Install the glow plugs - see operation "Glow Plugs, Remove and Install".
