Fuel System, Bleed - Sintra
The fuel system for the Sintra with the X 22 DTH engine is equipped with an in-tank pump. When the vehicle tank is drained, the vehicle can then be repaired on the spot.
Produce a connection between the wiring harness plug (1) and the positive terminal using a suitable cable (fuel pump supplying). Then hold down the valve inside the vent hose (2) with a screwdriver until fuel flows out without bubbles - collect escaping fuel in a suitable container. The injection pump is bled, as before, with Special Service Tool KM-948.
