Features Specific to this System
The ABS - 2SH system is equipped with self - diagnosis. This means:
If the ABS - 2SH control unit recognizes a fault in the system, it is stored after a certain amount of time. If any trouble codes are stored, the ABS telltale in the instrument is switched on.
Note: The anti - lock brake system ABS - 2SH permits readout of measured values while travelling. For this, the snapshot mode (F3 key) must be activated. This allows sporadic faults (e. g. loose contacts) to be detected.
Important: Trouble codes can only be deleted using TECH 1.
After completion of diagnosis with TECH 1, the ignition must be switched off at least once.
