Table 5, F5: Actuator Test
Note:
During the following actuator tests for the different brake circuits, follow TECH 1 instructions precisely. Incorrect responses / actions can lead to incorrect diagnosis.
For each of the various brake circuits, the ABS NORMAL function (standard brake system) and PRESSURE MAINTAIN and PRESSURE RELEASE functions are checked.
Important:
The check must not be aborted.
TECH 1 must not be disconnected before the end of the test. In this event, correct functioning of the brake system cannot be guaranteed. After the end of the check, the ignition must be switched OFF and ON again.
