Con - Rod
On CIH engines, con - rods of the highest weight class are occasionally supplied. The weight class of the con - rods still installed in the engine is indicated by a colour code on the con - rod. Material should be removed from the weight journal when the con - rod is being adapted to the weight class.
Permissible weight difference of con - rods without pistons and bearing shells within an engine: 8 g

blue 652 to 660 g
green 656 to 664 g
white 664 to 672 g
grey 668 to 676 g
