· The fault is recognized and stored in the following system operating phases:
Ignition ON
Vehicle operating
ABS control active
Diagnostic mode active (TECH 1 connected)
· Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 0.17 s

· Short circuit to ground:
Fault is recognized when the speed at the affected wheel is 2 km/h (1.25 mph) (affected wheel at a standstill)
and the sensor voltage falls below a threshold value.
· The fault is recognized and stored in the following system operating phases:
Ignition ON
Vehicle operating
ABS control active
Diagnostic mode active (TECH 1 connected)
· Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 0.0028.s
If trouble code 45 was recognized, valve actuation is blocked and the ABS telltale is switched on.
The solenoid valve relay is switched off.
During diagnosis (TECH 1 connected), the solenoid valve relay is switched on.
