How to Replace the Coolant Pump Opel Combo C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet

Important. On vehicles as of model year 04 with ESP - every time the battery is disconnected, the steering angle sensor loses its basic setting. It must be recalibrated.

2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground cable
3. 3. Drain coolant • Place collecting basin underneath. • Open drain bolt

4. 4. Raise vehicle
5. 5. Remove lower engine compartment cover / splash protection
6. 6. Remove ribbed V-belt (1) • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow • Fit KM-6130 (2)

Note. Mark running direction.

7. 7. Remove coolant pump (1) • Unscrew 4 nuts

8. 8. Cleaning work

Install

9. 9. Install coolant pump • Replace seal ring • Tighten 4 nuts 9 Nm
10. 10. Install ribbed V-belt • Release ribbed V-belt tensioner – Remove KM-6130

Note. Note running direction.

11. 11. Install lower engine compartment cover / splash protection
12. 12. Lower vehicle
13. 13. Top up coolant
14. 14. Connect battery
15. 15. Program volatile memory
16. 16. Close bonnet
