Remove
Engine coolant - partially drain.
All drive belts - see operation "Drive Belts Remove and Install".
Visco-clutch and fan assembly distance piece and pulley from water pump hub - nuts.
Remove
Crankshaft damper pulley (1) from crankshaft hub.
Timing pulley cover upper (2) and lower (3).
Water pump assembly (4) from cylinder block.
Seal from water pump body.
Inspect
Water pump for wear. Replace if necessary.
Install
Seal into water pump body.
Water pump assembly to cylinder block - bolts and nuts 20 Nm.
Engine coolant top up and bleed.
Install
Timing pulley cover upper.
Timing pulley lower cover - apply liquid gasket (arrowed) to lower cover - bolts 8 Nm.
Crankshaft damper pulley to crankshaft hub - bolt 19 Nm.
Install
Fan with visco-clutch distance piece and pulley to water pump hub - nuts 8 Nm.
All drive belts - see operation "Drive Belts Remove and Install".
Adjust
All drive belts - see operation "Drive Belt Tension Check and Adjust".
