Remove
Engine coolant - drain.
Heat shield from exhaust duct.
Remove
Water hoses (1) from inlet and outlet coolant pipes of oil cooler.
Oil filter assembly - bolts (2). Illustration shows 4JA1T engine.
Disassemble
Oil cooler from filter housing - bolt.
Clean
Sealing surfaces.
Assemble
Oil cooler to filter housing - bolt 22 Nm.
Install
Oil filter assembly with new gasket to cylinder block - bolts (2) 19 Nm.
Hoses (1) to inlet and outlet coolant pipes. Illustration shows 4JA1T engine.
Heat shield to exhaust front pipe.
Replenish engine coolant and engine oil.
