Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
  2. 2. Apply parking brake lever
  3. 3. Slide and tilt driver side seat rearward
  4. 4. Slide and tilt passenger side seat rearward
  5. 5. Release front section of centre console from vehicle • Remove 2x clip (1)
  6. 6. Slide and tilt driver side seat forward
  7. 7. Slide and tilt passenger side seat forward
  8. 8. Remove centre console from vehicle • Remove 2x clip (2) from rear of centre console • Disconnect 2x harness connector from 2x heater mat switch (if installed) • Release harness for 2x heater mat switch from centre console (if installed) – Release clip • Slide and tilt driver side seat rearward
  1. 9. Remove yaw acceleration sensor (2) from vehicle • Disconnect harness connector • Remove 2x bolt (1)

Install

  1. 10. Install new yaw acceleration sensor (2) to vehicle • Install 2x bolt (1) 8 Nm • Connect harness connector
  1. 11. Install centre console to vehicle • Slide and tilt driver side seat forward • Connect 2x harness connector to 2x heater mat switch (if installed) • Secure harness for 2x heater mat switch to centre console (if installed) – Secure clip • Install 2x clip (2) to rear of centre console
  2. 12. Slide and tilt driver side seat rearward
  3. 13. Slide and tilt passenger side seat rearward
  4. 14. Secure front section of centre console to vehicle • Install 2x clip (1)
  1. 15. Slide and tilt driver side seat to original position
  2. 16. Slide and tilt passenger side seat to original position
  3. 17. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  4. 18. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
  5. 19. Program Yaw Acceleration Sensor • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F3: Chassis • Turn "ON" Ignition and press CONFIRM • Press CONFIRM again for ASB/ESP • Select F5: Additional Function • Select F1: Sensor Cluster Calibration • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program
  6. 20. Turn off Tech 2, then remove from vehicle • Disconnect Tech 2 from diagnostic socket
