Stabilizer Link Rod Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

1. 1. Raise vehicle to suitable working height
2. 2. Remove front wheel • Remove 4x bolt
3. 3. Release stabilizer link rod (1) from stabilizer • Remove locknut (4)

Note. If the ball joint turns when removing the locknut, counterhold centre of the ball joint with allen key.

4. 4. Remove stabiliser link rod (2) from strut • Remove locknut (3) – Use allen key in ball joint end to prevent turning

Install

5. 5. Install new stabiliser link rod (2) to strut • Install locknut (3) 50 Nm – Use allen key in ball joint end to prevent turning
6. 6. Secure stabilizer link rod (1) to stabilizer • Install locknut (4) 50 Nm

Note. If the ball joint turns when installing the locknut, counterhold centre of the ball joint with allen key.

7. 7. Install front wheel • Install 4x bolt 85 Nm
