Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-234519) .
2. Remove the driver seat. For additional information, refer to «SEATING»(ref-234523) .
3. Remove the DSM screw. To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the DSM.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Scheme 62

1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-234519) .
2. Remove the steering column cover and reinforcement. For additional information, refer to «INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE»(ref-234528) .
3. Disconnect the front SJB electrical connectors.
4. Remove the SJB nuts. To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
5. Remove the SJB bracket screw. To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
6. Disconnect the rear SJB electrical connectors.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
